Measuring Employee Happiness®
Understanding that employee happiness is critical for organizational success, First Orion engaged in Amazing Workplace’s Employee Happiness® Conversation, an anonymous survey that uses patent-pending feeling verification technology. The comprehensive approach of the Happiness Conversation ensures an accurate assessment of how employees really feel.
In their January 2025 Happiness Conversation, an incredible 84% of employees participated, with over 85% of employees responding that they are happy or very happy working at First Orion, and over 96% saying they were satisfied or better. These results placed First Orion among the most select group of workplaces in overall happiness, among a handful of companies with a “Distinguished” status assigned to their Amazing Workplace award

Employees gave strong approval of the workplace experience, highlighting safe communication, fun teams, meaningful work, and leaders who empower and support staff.
Employees appreciated the opportunity to give detailed, anonymous feedback, and they gave top marks to the Amazing Workplace Conversation itself, with 97% of employees saying they liked it.

Celebrating success from the Happiness Conversation is important, but First Orion isn’t stopping there. Leadership is leveraging insights from the Amazing Workplace Platform to maintain what’s working and make thoughtful improvements where needed.
