The Newark Junior Chamber of Commerce founds the Newark Boys’ Club to promote the moral, mental and physical growth of its members. The Boys’ Club of Newark receives its official charter in 1938, and is housed in a rented factory loft at the corner of High Street and Eighth Avenue. Whether it's at our Clubhouse or at our school sites across the city of Newark, our passionate staff provides the support and guidance needed to make sure every child has the opportunity to realize their full potential, and grow into confident, successful young men and women.
